Appellant Frank R. Joseph appeals his bench conviction for conspiring to violate RICO provision 18 U.S.C. § 1962(c) (1982), in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1962(d) (1984). A RICO conspiracy conviction can be based on either an agreement to participate in the conduct of an enterprises affairs through the "collection of an unlawful debt," or an agreement to participate in the conduct of an enterprises affairs through a "pattern of racketeering activity." We conclude that there is sufficient evidence to support a conspiracy conviction on either ground. Therefore, we affirm.
